Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Milk this good doesn’t settle for any old hot chocolate.

  • 1⅓ cups Rolling Meadow Dairy™ 3.8% or 2% Milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder + more for dusting
  • 50g milk chocolate, broken into chunks
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract
  • whipped cream
  • fresh mint leaves/chocolate shavings, for garnish


  1. Gently heat milk in a small saucepan over medium/low heat, being careful not to boil.
  2. Whisk in cocoa powder and chocolate until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in peppermint extract.
  4. Add to heat proof mug and garnish with whipped cream, fresh mint leaves, chocolate shavings and a light dusting of cocoa powder.
